THE WEATHER.

FORECAST BY MB. C. L. WRAGGE.

The following weather forecast was issued by Mr. Clement L. Wragge at eight o'clock last evening : 3 —Conditions, although still decidedly -unsettled, are not quite so suspicious as was the case yesterday. The tropical depression Evoa is between Whangarei Heads *and the Kermadecs. Relatively low pressure in the extreme rear of the disturbance Omrah rules over the centre portions of the Dominion, and a high pressure wave is over Southland., This distribution of atmosphere implies increasing clouds, with damp and rainy weather shortly over most parts of the country, with winds chiefly from between south-south-wect and south-south-east; inclined to veer toward east-north-east. Sea moderate, but rather rough over the far northern coast.
