Mr. L, W. Frank, teller of the South Wellington branch of the Bank of New.'.Zealand, who has been transferred, on promotion, to the Te Kuili branch. vas:| presented hy the business peop'e of South'. Wellington with a parting gift at a fare- ; well gathering. Complimentary remarks | were made regarding Mr. Frank's courtesy as well as his capabilities as a bank official. A presentation to Mr. C. Twiname. a member of the Auckland Commerc'al Travellers Cluo, on the occasion of his ferriage, was made by the Waikato: travellera on Saturday last. The presentation, which took the form of a tea and coffee service was made by the president of the club, Mr. H. J. CSifton, who re- / ferred to Mr. Twinaroe's many good qualities and to (he service* he had rendered to his Kmg and fcountry.
