TECHNICAL HIGH SCHOOL.
OPENWG AT PUKEKOHE. APPOINTMENT OF THE STAFF. The new Technical High School at Pukekohe will ha officially opened by the Prime Minister, ths Righs Hon. W. F. Mareey, next -week. The * Hon. C, J. Parr. Minister for Education, will also bo present. The pupils will begin •work on February 7. The recommended appointment of the following teachers for ths school has been provisionally approved by the Education) Departments —Headmaster, Mr. W. F. JMunro, M. A., formerly agricultural ia« strnctor at Hamilton | assist ante, Mr< Mabel Rhodes, MA, and Mr. J. W. Olphert, B.A Should 100 pupils enrol, its is the intention of the Education Board to recommend the appointment of a fourth teacher to the staff. The following will be part-time teachers:—Mr. F. R. Cal> laghan, MJL (agricultural science), Mr. S. Youlden (wood work and drawing), Miss M. P. Harty (domestic science), and Miss H. Vincent (dressmaking)".
