THE WEATHER.
* FORECAST BY MR. C. L. WRAGQE. The following "weather forecast was issued by Mr. Clement L. Wragge at 7.30 p.m. yesterday: — Present indications point to a change in the weather and to a tendency to increasing haze and cloudiness, with some rain over the northern and southernmost districts under tropical and Antarctic influences respectively. Between Wellington, Auckland, and the eastern seaboard south from Whangarei Heads, line weather should continue for a time longer, with warm and muggy days, but more genial over Hawke's Bay. A new Antarctic disturbance named Nakal is due to follow, and should affect the South Island toward the end of the week. Winds chiefly eouth-Bouth-west to south-south-east, inclined to veer easterly and later northerly. Sea moderate.
