SEAPLANE IN TROUBLE.

FORCED TO ALIGHT ON SEA. UNABLE TO COMPLETE JOURNEY. A seaplane from the New Zealand Flying School, Kohimarama, -which left at 5.30 a.m. yesterday for Rotorua, via Tauranga, had to alight on the sea near Waiheke owing to engine troubles. The plane was piloted by Mr. Bolt, and was being taken to Rotorua in order that an exhibition of flying could be given in connection with a carnival to be held there. The machine was towed to Cowes Bay, and will be brought back to Auckland to-day.
