AFTER THE TEST MATCH.
ENGLISH PRESS COMMENTS. (Received 12.30 a.m.) United Service., .LONDON, Dec. 23. Wilson, cabling to the Daily Express, states that Woolley was very unlucky to be given out stumped in the-test match. It was a doubtful decision'. Good judges are of opinion that Oldfiold did not handle tho ball. Opinion is also much divided over the decision resulting in the dismissal of Douglas. s The Daily News say 3 that it is to be hoped that the fellowship of the game will not be marred by more unpleasant umpiring incidents like that in which Douglas was concerned. The Times states that there is no reason why the frtory of 1911 should not be repeated. The Marylebone team is a verystrong combination and the Times believes that it will still give an excellent account of itself.
