STANDARDISATION WANTED. A CONFERENCE SUGGESTED. [BT TELEGBAPH. —FBESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, Wednesday. The Wellington Harbour Board to-night passed a resolution recommending the Harbour Boards' Association to a conference and invite" representatives of all harbour, beards, chambers of commerce, and other institutions and interests, with the object of fully discussing a new policy dealing with the operations on-the waterfronts of the Dominion, with a view to standardisation of policy and its general improvement both as regards the interest of the public and the workers, such conference to bo open to the press.
