PRESENTATION.
r A presentation of an illuminated album containing the names of about 700 past Sunday-school scholars was made la*t evening to Mr. J. Burton, of the Grafton Road Methodist Church, who has completed' 60 years' service in Sunday-school work. Mr. E. J, Gatland presided over a crowded gathering in the church to Co honour to Mr. Burton. Over 200 letters and telegrams'of congratulation were received from vai ous parts of the Dominion. All the speakers testified 'o the, sterl'ng qualities of Mr. Burton, and to the long and faitnful work he had performed- during the last 42 years at the Grafton Road Church, and for the receding eight years at the Pitt Street Methodist Church. Bouquets were presented to Mrs. J. Burton, who was re presented by her daughter, Miss XEdith Burton, f lid to Mrs. Woodham. the oldest surviving scholar of the Sunday-school Musical • items were given during the evening. - -■■
