HOPES OF FUTURE ARMYReuter. LONDON, Oct. 6. The old militaristic spirit is not dead in Germany. General von Seekt. Chief of the Army Command, in a farewell address to the men of the heavy artillery and airship detachments, who have been disbanded, eulogised their achievements in the war, making particular reference to the bombardment of the fortress of Paris. Ho concluded that the-.unforgettable performance of both branches of the service would strengthen the hope that Germany would see them once again awake.
