PROHIBITION IN ENGLAND.
ADVOCATE REFUSED HEARING A. and N.Z. LONDON. Oct. 6. Mr. W. h. Johnson, the American prohib tion advocate, was refused a hearing in the Reading Town Hall. Stink bombs were thrown into the hall, and huge crowds outside tried to rush the hall. Detectives escorted Mr. Johnson from the building.
