QUEENSLAND'S NEEDS.
MORE PROTESTANT SCHOOLS. RELIGION AND POLITICS. .Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 9.80 p.m.) . LONDON, Oct. 5. The Bishop of North Queensland, Dr. J. O. Feetham, addressing the Society for the Propagation of Christian Knowledge, pleaded for assistance to increase the number of Protestant higher schools in Queensland. Previously, he said, secondary and residential schools in North Queensland were exclusively Roman Catholic. Dr. Feetham added: "Now you know why Queensland politics are in such a strange state."
