BROKEN HILL DISTRESS.
NEW ZEALAND CONTRIBUTIONS. [BY TELEGBAPH.PBESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON. Tuesday. Mr. J. B. Williams, who has been in New Zealand for about four months collecting for the Broken Hill Distress Fund, stated to-day that the Unionists of New Zealand had pledged themselves to continue supporting the Broken Hill strikers in their fight. Several unions in New Zealand had undertaken to help finance the cost of his mission to South Africa, and the Waterside Workers' Federation and the New Zealand Workers* Union had already made donations toward the object. Mr. Williams leaves :ior Soiith Africa next week. {
