The level railway crossing at King Street, Newmarket, always a danger spot for . vehicular traffic, was yesterday morning the scene of another accident, a collision occurring between a; /train and | a motor-waggon. The waggon, driven by a young man' named Robert Skelton, em' ployed by his father, Mr. R. Skelton, carrier and coal dealer,, okßemnera Road. 'was crossing the lines at about : half-past eight o'clock when the 7,48 a.m. train from Henderson rushed into it, smashing it v completely. The motor-driver was thrown on one-side, being rendered un« conscious for a little time and bruised about the body. He subsequently was able to proceed to hie home. The train was not damaged, and after a delay of about ten minutes resumed its journey to the city. » .
