HIGH PRICES FOR PRODUCE.
WARNING TO FARMERS. [BT TELEGBAPH.OWN CORRESPONDENT.] MASTERTON, Monday. In the course of an address delivered before a large meeting of farmers at Masterton, Major Norton, managing director of the Bristol and Dominions Producers' Association, advised farmers not to look for high prices in the future, as the present inflated prices could not last, and must come down. High prices had been caused by speculation, and values would ultimately come down to a level fair to the producer and to the consumer.
