The Town Hall concert chamber -was crowded last.evening when Mr. Herbert Booth, the, Evangelist, spoke on the sub-

ject, " A Voice From the Spirit World." Mr. Booth traversed tho period in St. Paul's lite leading up to his conversion. This wls an age of much restlessness of no little uncertainty concerning the things of God, religion, and suffering. Religious character was put into the crucible and melted down. It was the certain note that the hungry souls in' this city wanted.' They were looking for facts, the witness 'in the case of the Master.
