ULTIMATUM BY EMPLOYERS
BRITISH ENGINEERS WARNED. GREAT LOCK - OCT THREATENED. A. and N.Z. LONDON, June 13. The National News states that a private meeting of employers in the engineering trades held at Edinburgh decided to resist all demands for further increases in wages and to close down all works, creating a gigantic lock-out, unless the latest demands are withdrawn.
