TRAMWAY CONCESSIONS.
Sir—l hope the whole of tho suburban bodies will combine and not allow the Citv Council to impose the absurd restrictions intended- oil the concession tickets to be issued for use on the trams next month. There, aw no such restrictions m any city of tlie Dominion. I was m Wellinßton a short time ago and used the trams every day for a fortnight. "• I used concession tickets to take mo to the suburb whew I resided. Perhaps a friend would accompany me. The conductor when 1 ga ve .him ray ticket, would merely " how many." and when told, punch tho card the requested number of fares. During the whole time I was in and out 0 { Wellington I never saw a faro missed, _ toy member of a family can use tho same ticket. Another thing, you do not have to hunt round to find out where these tickets are on sale. You simply purchase from the conductors on the trams. ItaIUERA.
