The results of Saturday matches in the senior grade competition leave Maritime and City in the lead, with eight points each, as a result of four wine apiece. , Newton comes next with" seven points, having scored three wins and played a draw. Then follow Ponsonby and Marist Old Boys, with three points each. Devonport has one point to their credit as a result of a draw with Poneonby.
