PROSECUTIONS AT TAIHAPE. [by telegraph.—*BXSS ASSOCIATION'.], TAIHAPE, Jfocdsy. At the Magistrate's Court about, eighty men who were concerned in the strike at the Taihape Freezing Works in January last were sued by the Labour Department for £10 each .as penalty for participating in a strike. Fourteen of the cases 'W withdrawn. The leaders were each fined £5 with costs and the remainder if the men were each fined £1 with costs.
