NEW ZEALAND TEAM.
FINAL SELECTION MADE.
THREE ATJOKLANDERS CHOSEN.
WELLINGTON. Tuesday. At a meeting of the Olympic Council held to-night the following four members were finally selected in the order mentioned to represent- New Zealand at the Olympic Games provided funds are available :— Hadfield (sculler) of Auckland; G. Davidson (runner), of Auckland; H. E. Wilson (hurdler) of Wellington), and Miss V. Walrond (swimmer), of Auckland. It was also decided that Miss Shand and C. Atkinson (swimmers), of Canterbury, and J. Lindsay (sprinter), of Canterbury, be also kept open for selection in the event of sufficient funds being forthcoming. Lindsay is at present in Scotland. The council also decided to make inquiries relative to Ollivier, the tennis champion, and Captain Brunton, champion fencer.
