■» ATTEMPTS IN AMERICA. Renter. NEW YORK, April 19. Two separate attempts are being made this week under Government supervision to communicate with Mars. Professor David Todd, of Omaha, proposes to flash signals from a balloon at a record altitude. Professor Frederick Milliner will attempt to pick up the mysterious messages by wireless telephone.
