m — COMMISSION'S FINDINGS ADMINISTRATION CRITICISED. A. and N.Z. MELBOURNE. April 20. Mr. Justice Ewing has finished hi» report on the Northern Territory, and it will shortly be presented. It is understood that much blame for the troubles in the Territory is placed on the administration from Melbourne during the period before the deportation of the administration officials. It is also urged that the machinery of government of the Territory is too costly and cumbersome for the amount of work to be done, and that the administration could with advantage be made much cheaper and simpler.
