DR. HUGHES TO COME NORTH. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] DUNEDIN, Tuesday. A3 previously announced, Dr. Chesson, district health officer of Canterbury, will take up duty as chief medical officer at Samoa, and will be succeeded by Dr. Telford, of Whangarci. Dr. Hughes, who relieved Dr. Chesson while the latter was at Samoa recently has notice of his retransfer to Auckland.
