FAREWELL TO GOVERNOR.

-♦- TOWN HALL FUNCTION TO-NIGHT. An official farewell to Their Excellencies, the Governor-General and the Countess of Liverpool, will take glace at the Town Hall at eight o'clock this evening. The Mayor, Mr. J. H. Gunson, will present an address to Their Excellencies, and Mr. C. J. Tunks will speak on behalf of the Order of St. John, the Red Cross, and the Y.M.G.A. war organisations. The city organist, Mr. Maughan Burnett, will play two organ solos, and Mrs. Cyril Towsey will contribute two songs.
