THE WEATHER.
FORECAST BY MR. C. L. WRAGGE.
The following weather forecast was issued by Mr. Clement L. Wragge at 7.30 p.m. yesterday The disturbance Pekod is of wide extent, and is developing a northerly extension with a falling barometer. This means further unsettled and showery weather, but it is expected that pressure will shortly recover and conditions become finer in the North. In the South, however, very unsettled and rainy weather should prevail for about two days. Winds from between north-west and south-west, veering southerly shortly as the barometer rises. Sea rather rough, especially on West Coast. By Saturday the disturbance should have passed away. HEAVY RAIN AT GORE. [BY TELEGRAPH.—rRESS ASSOCIATION.] GORE. Tuesday. A total of 2.53 in of rain was recorded in 24 hours, being the heaviest fall hero since records have been kept.
