EXCHANGE OF OPINIONS. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 12.5 a-m.) NEW YORK, March- 24. . Georges Carpentier and his wife have arrived. Carpentier said that he was anxious to meet Dempsey. He believed he could win in six rounds. Beckett, he described as a boxer all the time and a fighter secondly, while Dempsey was a fighter first and a boxer secondly. Carpentier is under a ten weeks' variety enterment contract, and will also pose for the cinematographs at Angeles. Dempsey. in an interview, said that he would be glad to meet Carpentier as soon as a meeting could be arranged. " If Carpentier thinks he can win within six rounds."' said Dempsey. " be will be disappointed. 1 believe I can beat him, but I cannot say in how many rounds.''
