That the vocational training work undertaken 'by the Defence Department is proving increasingly popular with the returned soldiers is shown by the progress .statement a.* to the number of classes held by the department during February List.
'; he total number of soldiers in training according to the class rolls for February* is 1793, being an advance of 347 on the January figures, and the highest figure reached since the vocational training scheme was inaugurated.
