ASPERSION ON SOLDIERS. . Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Becd. 1.15 a.m.) , v LONDON, March 28. In the House of Commons Mr. T. P. O'Connor, adverting, to his statement reflecting upon the soldiers who searched the house of the Lord Mayor of Cork after the murder of Mr. Mac Curtain, said that the subsequent explanation of Mr. J. L Maophereon, Chief Secretary for Ireland, disposed of his (Mr. O'Connor's) remarks. The explanation, moreover, did the officer concerned great credit.
