WATERSIDE WORKERS' UNION
( In connection with the election of officials for the Waterside Workers' Union, the following additional results are an* nouncod -Mr. F. Stanley was ' elected unopposed to tho position of treasurer.! There were five candidates,- for the three seats on the Local .Disputes Committee. Two of last year's committee, Messrs. N. Saunders, 505 votes, and O. Noakcs, 465 votes, were re-elected, and the other successful candidate was Mr. W. Soares, 425 votes.
There were 22 candidates for the new executive of 12, members. The three members of the old executive who offered themselves were elected. The successful candidates were : Messrs. C, Myers, 381; W. Oram, 363; W. Millar/ 550; T. Avery 437 i D. K. Davies, 360; H. Francis, 332; J. Urico, 347; W. H. Jones, 375; D. John»ton, 318; W. Schofiold, 368; T. Solomon. 444; and T. Whit&kar, 396.
