The Dominion is divided into four Maori electorates for the purpose of returning native representatives to Parliament, the Maori electors of the North Island electing three members, and those of the South Island one member. The polling in connection with the Maori elections will take place on Tuesday, December 16. All adult Maoris are, unless disqualified, entitled to vote. The electoral roll of Maori electors will not be used in this election. Any rights in respect of the licensing question to which discharged Maori soldiers are entitled can be exercised only at the European elections, on December 17.
