ANOTHER COMPETITOR.
START OF THE MARTINSYDE. A. and N Z. LONDON, Dec. 4*. The Martinsyde aeroplane, piloted by Captain C. E. Howell, left the Hounslow aerodrome at 9.34 a.m. today on its flight to Australia. An excellent start was made, the machine circling the aerodrome to gain elevation, and then starting out on its long voyage. The Martinsydo i s the sixth aeroplane to start on the flight to' Australia. The following is a list of those taking part in this great race : — ... , , . Date.
