DECEMBER FROSTS.
DAMAGE AT MOBEINSVILLE. [BY TELEGRAPH— COKRESFONDENT.I MORSINSVILLE. Friday. Four degrees of frost were experienced m Momnsville on Wednesday, and extensive damage was done to potato and other crops. French beans and tomatoes suffered considerably. It is some years since frost was experienced in Morrinsville in December. POSITION AT ALBANY. A sharp frost was experienced in the Albany district on Wednesday night. Many crops of potatoes, pumpkins, maize, and tomatoes have been cut down. One tomato-grower has lost all his plantation. The grapes in low-lying localities have also been severely nipped.
