INFLUENZA IN PROVINCE.
SIX NEW CASES YESTERDAY. FIVE OF MILD NATURE. Six cases of influenza were notified to the Auckland District Health Officer during the 24 hours ended at noon yesterday. Of 'ttTese, two mild cases were in the city, and three mild and one severe one in the suburbs- During the previous 24 hours 12 cases were notified, six mild ones in the city and suburbs, and five mild and one severe in the country. Returns from the Waikato health district,- received yesterday, dating back, to ; November 22, were:—Hamilton, 17 mild cases and one severe case; Frankton, six mild; Te Kuiti, one mild and two severe; country districts, four mild and one severe. From the Bay of Plenty three severe cases were notified yesterday, and from the Taumarunui district one mild case. Notifications of cases of pneumonia yesterday comprised one each from Frankton, M.orrinsville, and Thames. One city and two country cases were notified in the previous 24 hours.
