POLICE FOR SAMOA.
MEN TRAINING AT TRENTHAM. [BX TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WELLINGTON, Thursday. A rumour has been in circulation that a number of soldiers are being trained at Trentham for duty in Samoa. It is understood, however, that these men are being trained for the Samoan civil police force, which will shortly replace the present military police. This change is provided for by tha Samoan Constitution.
