SAILING OF THE TALUNE.
VOTES OF CREW RECORDED.
The Island steamer Talune, which had been delayed in port since Thursday morning to allow her crew to register their votes in connection with the forthcoming general elections, left short'.y before 9 p.m. yesterday. The crew registered their votes at the Government Shipping Office yesterday afternoon before the superintendent of Mercantile Marine.
The delay to the vessel allowed cargo to be shipped in fu'filment of orders received by the Palooua's mails. This car<ro included a considerable quantity of tinned fish, which wi.l doubtless prove most acceptable in lieu of the tinned meat shut out of the vessel through the refusal of the waterside workers to handle it.
