EXTREMISTS IN POLAND.
A TRIAL OF STRENGTH.
VICTORY FOR GOVERNMENT.

LONDON, Oct. 20.
The Times correspondent at Warsaw states that a long-expected trial of strength between the Polish Government and the extremists came this week. The extremists collapsed before the Government's firm handling of the strike leaders, large numbers of whom were arrested. Serious movements against the landlords were confined to Russian Poland, where the communist leaders are in Russian pay.
