MAUKU ATHLETIC CLv-*J. I The annual meeting of the Matifcu Athletic Club was held at tho Patnmahoe Hail on Friday evening last, -when it was decided to • revive the sports meeting, which had been allowed to lapse since the war. The following officers wore elected for the ensuing year:—Patron, the Rt. Hon. W. F. Massey: president, Mr. William Somrnerville; vice-presidents, Messrs. B. Fulton and W. Finlay; (secretary, Mr. H. C. Hay, starter. Mr. A. Cornthwaite; handicappcrs, Messrs. \V. Pleydcil. J. Kencally, ana F. Henry; judges, Messrs. R. Fulton and E. C. Cuff; call steward*. Mr. S. Rowe; committee, Messrs. Bumble, J. Hunter, A. Woolsey, O. White, G. Howard, T. Short, J. Adohob, A. Moore. Crispe, McMurtrie. Shepj>ard, and Knight; delegate to the Nortaem Athletic Union, Mr. J. B. Goldgworthy. It was decided to hold the meeting on New Year's Day.
