Cutten, S.M., at the Magistrate's Court, yesterday. Ethel Rawlineon (Mr. Singer) applied for separation and maintenance orders ■ and the guardianship of her children 1 against Ralph Clyde Rawlinson, who did , not appear to answer the allegations of 3 persistent cruelty and failure to maintain. - Th, orders were made, maintenance being fixed at £3 a week. J FATHER OF SIX CHILDREN. ) Persistent cruelty and failure to main- , tain were the grounds on which Annie I Wolstenholme (Mr. Sullivan) applied for ; separation and maintenance and the 5 guardianship of her six children. The , defendant, Ethelred Jones Wolstenholme, , described as a gumdigger, said that he , had not worked since last Mav, claiming 5 that Ins heart was affected. He admitted , that he had only contributed £10 towards the support of his family in the last four months. Finally orders for separation and the custody of the children were made by consent. Th magistrate made » an order for £1 per week maintenance, leayine it to the complainant to make further application should defendant's circumstances improve. ANOTHER COUPLE SEPARATED. Helen Amelia Walding (Mr. Singer) was panted separation from her husband, (reorge balding, a labourer, and £1 15 3 maintenance, in addition to the guardianshin of her four children.
