LAWN TENNIS.

THE REMUERA CLUB. The annual meeting of the Remuerai Lawn Tennis Club was held last evening. Mr. H. R. Hefketh presiding over a good attendance. Tins annua! report and balance-sheet showed that the club had had a most successful year having again defected all corners tor the Duniop Shield. The club has alto won both pennanfs in the interclub competition. The balance-sheet showed a profit of £44 4s sd. The following officers were elected : President. Mr. J. F. Fwen; vice-presi-dents, Messrs. H. R. Hesketh, and H. Richmond; lakes' comnv'ttee, .-..sses N Crowther. N. MacCormick. B. McGovern M. Pnytcn. and F. Woodruffe; general committee. Messrs. R. Anmis. L \ Ton uet - K. G. Archer. V.. W. Griffith's V. G. Bell, and H. R. Hull; hon. secretary' Mr. L. H'ckhon ; hon. treasurer, Mr J F. Colegrove; hon. auditor, Mr. W H ' Burton. The club will open its season this after- . noon. " ;
