"MISSING" SHIP SAFE.
SCHOONER'S LONG VOYAGE. ADY ARRIVES AT PANAMA. BADLY DAMAGED CONDITION. The Belgian schooner Ady, which left Suva for London on April 28, and was recently posted as missing, has just put into Panama in a badly damaged condition. She will have to be docked before proceeding to her destination. Information to this effect was received by John Burns and Co., Ltd., by cable yesterday. The Ady left Auckland early in April last for Suva, and the voyage has thus occupied six months, five of "which were spent in the 50$) odd miles between Suva and the canal. The safe arrival of the Ady raises the hope that the four-masted barquentine Lyman D. Foster, outward bound from Nukualofa, which has just been posted missing, may yet be safe. This vessel was in Auckland in March, and sailed from Nukualofa for San Francisco on March 26, The Lyman D. Foster is a much slower vessel than the Ady. It is considered pos. sible she may soon arrive in safety at some American port.
