SEAMEN'S AGREEMENT.
SMALL OWNERS OPPOSED. COMPROMISE SUGGESTED. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Recti. 11.30 p.m.) SYDNEY. Sept. 25. The union officials hope to avert trouble by making an offer for the men to work on coastal ships without overtime, as the new rates of payment under the agreement appear to be the chief question with small boat owners.
