COMMISSION APPOINTED. [BY TKLEGRArH. PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON. Thursday. Mr. F. W. Furkert, Engineerto the Public Works Department, Mr. A. J Hunter, civil engineer at Auckland, and Mr. F. C. Hay, civil engineer of Giaborne, have been appointed a commission to inquire into the question of preventing the flooding of lands by the Waihou River, in the Ohinemuri and Thames Counties.
