TRANSFERS AND SUB-LEASES. The Auckland Land Board met yesterday, thp commissioner. Mr. H. M. Skeet, presiding. There were also present: Messrs. A. R. Harris, J. G. Rutherford, and R. Boddy. The following transfers and sub-leases were approved or recommended to the Minister for Lands fur approval :— B. A. Pcnd to W. H. Barnett, Puketurua, 240 acres, Maungatautari ; A. B. Brewis to Elizabeth Riddel 1, Hamilton, one acre, Hamilton West: E. H. Tarsome to E. 0. Spraggs, Te Awamutu, one acre, Teasdale Settlement ; A. Harwood to Jessie Henderson. Pu,taruru, 199 acres, Patatere North; W. C. Pilmer to A. ¥.. Gibson. Gisborne. 1946 acres, Waioeka; ,T. W. Rollo, 81 acres, Pirongia Parish. The board dealt with 126 applications bv soldiers for assistance to purchase house and farm property.
