KENNEL CLUB'S SHOW.

OPENING THIS MORNING. The Auckland Kennel Club's annual show will be opened in the Old Market Buildings at 9 a.m. to-dav and will be continued to-morrow and Saturday. Judging will commence this morning and the ! show will be open each evenine till 10 I o clock. Excellent entries have been rei ceived in all classes, and competition for j the prizes in the various sections is expected to be exceptionally keen The club will have the late Captain Scott's dog, Funny Face, on exhibition for the last time, and the public should not miss the opportunity of seeing this famous hardy canine. Funny Face accompanied Captain Scott on his fatal South Polar expedition. The officers and men of ■ H.M.S. New Zealand will be admitted tree throughout the period of the show.
