SITTINGS OF THE CABINET. The Cabinet Ministers have had a busy day to-day. There was an Executive meeting this morning. Directly it was concluded the Cabinet sat and resumed after lunch, and remained in session all the afternoon.
PROGRAMME FOR THE WEEK. When the House meets to-morrow the debate on the second reading of the Board of Trade Bill will have first claim on its attention. The indications are that many members will wish to have their views heard on the cost of living, and the muchcanvassed subject of profiteering. The discussion of the report on th« Industries Committee was adjourned Until Wednesday, when private members' Bills will have to give way to it. The principal Government measure on the Order Paper is the Women's Representation Bill, which, though read a first time, has not yet been circulated.
