DRAPERY HOUSE BALL.

SMITH AND CAUGHEY'S STAFF. An enjoyable ball was given in the Masonic Hall, Belgium Street, last night by the staff of Smith and Caughey, Ltd. There was a large attendance, and dancing, which was commenced at 8.15 p.m., was continued until a late hour. The hall was tastefully decorated, and the supper -arrangements were excellent. The dance

programme included waltzes, fcx-trots, and one-steps, and many extras were given. The orchestra was excellent. The committee consisted of Mrs. Hoban and Misses Lineen, Hudgell, Baggott, Hamilton, Murdoch, Hawkins, Smith, F Messrs. F Ferguson, Worsley, Davjes, Wilson, Peirman, Hooker, Teppett, Emery, Otter, Kersley, Roberts.
