HYDRO-ELECTRIC POWER.
MOUNT ALBERT REQUIREMENTS.
The question of obtaining a supply of electric power for the district was discussed by the Mount Albert Borough Council last evening. A report of the recent conference of suburban local bodies on the subject was given by Mr. F. J. H. Harrijson, one of the council's delegates, who recommended that Mount Albert should take the same action as Mount Edeit and apply for fiOO horsepower of electric current from Horabora. Amotion in that direction was carried.
