STREET LIGHTING.
Sir, How is it that Cook Street East is not better lighter? Although there are street lamp at Vincent Street, Albert Street, and Cleave's Avenue, it is quite an exception when they are lighted. If it was not for the electric light in Grey .Street the whole street would be in darkness. There is considerable motor traffic crossing from "Vincent Street, and I should not be surprised at a serious accident on any dark night in the near future. H.G.S.
