PLANS TO BE PREPARED

[BY TELEGRAPH. OWN CORRESPONDENT.] THAMES, Thursday The necessity for a traffic bridge over the Waihou River was emphasised last night at a conference between the Thames Borough and County Councils. No decision as to the site of the bridge was reached, and it was finally decided to ask the borough and county engineers to draw up a report for consideration at a future meeting as to the beet site between the mouth of the river and Puriri and also as to whether the proposed bridge should be of -wood, or of concrete.
