HAMILTON MEMORIAL PARK.
COMMITTEE APPEALS FOR £2000. [BY TEUEGRAPF. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] HAMILTON. Tuesday. At last night's meeting of the Hamilton Beautifying Society, it was unanimously decided to donate the §um of £50 to the memorial park fund. This amount will be taken from the society's own private account. It was decided to appeal to the public to subscribe £2000 in order to complete the park. This money will be required for concrete walls, band rotunda, fountains, tea kiosk, etc. A number of substantial donations have been received, and promises amounting to close upon £250 have already been made to the committee.
